Leon Zhang's 2023 World AeroPress Championship Third-Place Recipe

Brew 18g of medium-fine coffee with 235g of water in an upright AeroPress using stacked cotton and linen filters. Contrasting temperatures of 100g at 93°C and 135g at 75°C with vacuum soaks build texture without losing clarity. Cut and stack the filters flat for a clean seal, and pull the plunger only slightly during soaks to avoid disturbing the bed.
